1.Customs Clearance Management
-Oversee and manage all import/export clearance activities for SEZ and non-SEZ factories.
-Handle clearance procedures for local sales and re-export goods.
-Ensure smooth coordination with customs authorities, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams.
2.Compliance & Documentation
-Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade agreements, and company policies.
-Review and verify shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, licenses) for accuracy and compliance.
-Resolve issues related to delays, inspections, or customs queries efficiently.
3.Cost & Efficiency Monitoring
-Monitor customs duties, taxes, and clearance costs to optimize operational efficiency.
-Maintain accurate records of all clearance activities.
4.Reporting
-Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and yearly clearance reports to management.
-Submit required reports to customs offices as per regulatory requirements.
5.Leadership & Team Management
-Lead and supervise the clearance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
-Ensure team adherence to compliance standards and operational efficiency.
6.Licensing & Regulatory Liaison
-Manage CDC Master application and renewal processes.
-Hold and maintain a valid Broker License card.
-Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customs offices and officers.
1. Qualifications & Skills
•Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures (Import, Export, SEZ, Non-SEZ, Local Sale, Re-Export).
•In-depth understanding of customs regulations, duties, and taxes.
•Experience in reviewing and managing shipping documentation.
•Excellent coordination and communication skills with external and internal stakeholders.
•Leadership skills with experience in team supervision and training.
•Valid Broker License card.
•Strong relationship management with customs authorities.
