1. Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, regulations, and Prakas related to seasonal workers and subcontracting practices.
2. Conduct legal research on national and international labor laws, best practices, and compliance requirements.
3. Advise the Fare Work Commission and related government agencies on legal issues concerning labor relations, seasonal employment, and subcontracting arrangements.
4. Ensure that drafted laws comply with Cambodia’s Constitution, Labor Law, and relevant international conventions.
5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather input and ensure the practicality of drafted regulations.
6. Monitor implementation of regulations and provide recommendations for amendments as necessary.
7. Prepare legal opinions, briefs, and reports to support decision-making.
Education: - Master’s degree in Law, International Law, Labor Law, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in legal drafting, labor law, or government regulatory work.
- Proven experience in drafting legal documents, regulations, or government directives (Prakas).
- Familiarity with Cambodian labor law, international labor standards, and subcontracting frameworks.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent legal drafting and documentation skills in both Khmer and English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Other Requirements:
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of seasonal labor issues and subcontracting arrangements is an advantage.
