The Audit Associate supports the audit team by assisting in the execution of financial and operational audits. This role involves performing audit procedures, analyzing data, and documenting findings under the guidance of senior auditors. -Support the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements in accordance with professional standards and firm guidelines.
-Collect, verify, and analyze financial data and supporting documentation to substantiate audit findings and recommendations.
-Perform audit programs and testing procedures to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
-Prepare and maintain accurate and organized audit working papers, documenting procedures, findings, and conclusions.
-Assist senior auditors in supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
-Present and discuss audit findings with senior team members, contributing to the development of practical recommendations for process improvement.
-Ensure adherence to audit standards, policies, and procedures throughout all phases of the engagement.
-Actively participate in training and professional development programs to enhance technical knowledge and auditing skills.
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or final-year student close to graduation).
-Basic understanding of accounting and auditing concepts (training will be provided).
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
-Good command of written and spoken English.
-Chinese language proficiency (speaking and/or writing) is an advantage.
