• Design and arrange floral displays for various occasions (weddings, funerals, events, etc.).
• Create custom bouquets, wreaths, and other floral arrangements.
• Maintain and care for flowers and plants to ensure freshness.
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
• Manage inventory of flowers, plants, and supplies.
• Handle sales transactions and maintain a clean and organized shop.
• Coordinate with suppliers for ordering flowers and materials.
• Provide delivery services for floral orders when required.

• Previous experience as a florist or in floral design (preferred but not always required).
• Creative and artistic skills for designing attractive floral arrangements.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of flower types, plant care, and floral arrangement techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure, especially during busy periods like holidays or special events.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle heavy flower buckets.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent (some employers may require formal training in floral design).
