Follow up with customers who have overdue loan payments through phone calls, field visits, and reminder notices.
Negotiate repayment plans with delinquent customers and encourage timely settlement of outstanding balances.
Conduct field investigations to verify customers' financial situations and repayment capacity.
Monitor overdue loan accounts and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports.
Implement effective collection strategies to reduce delinquency and non-performing loans (NPL).
Maintain accurate collection records and update customer payment information in the banking system.
Ensure all collection activities comply with the bank's policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
Coordinate with Branch Managers, Credit Officers, and the Legal team to resolve difficult collection cases.
Build and maintain professional relationships with customers while protecting the bank's reputation.
Assist in recovering overdue loans and achieving assigned collection targets.
Perform other duties assigned by management.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in loan collection, debt recovery, credit operations, or a similar role in a bank or microfinance institution.
Strong knowledge of loan collection processes, delinquency management, and banking regulations.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to handle difficult situations professionally while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently, meet collection targets, and work under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and banking management systems.
Honest, responsible, and committed to maintaining confidentiality.
Willing to travel frequently for field collection activities.
Possession of a valid motorcycle driving license and own transportation is an advantage.
