Identify and acquire new loan customers to achieve assigned lending targets.
Conduct customer visits, credit investigations, and financial assessments to evaluate loan applications.
Analyze borrowers' repayment capacity and recommend appropriate loan decisions.
Prepare and submit accurate loan documentation in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
Monitor loan portfolios and ensure timely loan repayments while maintaining portfolio quality.
Follow up on overdue accounts and implement effective collection strategies to minimize non-performing loans (NPL).
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, credit procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training to junior Credit Officers.
Prepare regular loan performance, collection, and portfolio reports for management.
Support branch business development activities and promote the bank's financial products and services.
Perform other duties assigned by the Branch Manager or Branch Vice President.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Credit Officer or in a similar lending role within a bank or microfinance institution.
Strong knowledge of credit analysis, loan processing, risk assessment, and loan collection.
Good understanding of microfinance operations, lending policies, and banking regulations.
Proven ability to achieve loan disbursement and collection targets.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills to support junior team members.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and banking management systems.
Honest, responsible, and able to work independently under pressure.
Willing to travel frequently for customer visits and field operations.
Possession of a valid motorcycle driving license is an advantage.
