• • Instruct students of all ages with varying ability levels to develop technical swimming skills, understanding water safety, and confidence in the water. Organize sports events and competitions.
• • Ensure that students compete at their ability level and are not exposed to unnecessary injury or illness during school sports activities.
• • Assign practice and other swim-related work, and test students on their knowledge and skills.
• • Motivate students, encourage progress, and maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
• • Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and assistance to enhance their swimming abilities.
• • Follow the school calendar and attend meetings arranged by the school.
• • Participate in school events to promote the swimming program, parent workshops, student competitions, and awards ceremonies.
• • Attend and conduct educational or sports training and conferences as required.
• • Engage in academic meetings with relevant staff members and teachers.
• • Perform other teaching duties and responsibilities as necessary.
• • Hold a diploma in Swimming from a recognized institution.
• • Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum design and presentation.
• • Minimum of 1-year experience working as a swimming teacher.
• • Experience working with International Schools is preferred.
• • Bilingual skills in Khmer/English, both spoken and written, are highly desirable.
• • Hard-working, self-motivated, honest, reliable, loyal, responsible, and a good team player.
• • Strong organizational and time management skills.
• • Fast learner with a desire to achieve set goals.
• • Ability to work under pressure and independently.
